On February 12, 2025, a dramatic altercation erupted at the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) department office in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad.

The incident involved a female lawyer and two male counterparts, all vying to represent a truck driver whose vehicle had been seized during an enforcement drive.

The dispute escalated from a heated argument to a physical confrontation, with slaps, kicks, and collar-grabbing, as captured in multiple videos that have since gone viral.

Eyewitnesses reported that the female lawyer, accompanied by her husband, also a legal professional, confronted another advocate over the client's representation.

The situation intensified when the female lawyer was seen grabbing a male lawyer by his collar and slapping him. In retaliation, the male lawyer assaulted her, leading to a full-blown brawl. Bystanders attempted to intervene, but the confrontation continued until police arrived at the scene.

The Ghaziabad police promptly responded, bringing both parties to the Sahibabad police station. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Trans-Hindon) Nimish Patil stated that both groups had come to the SGST office with their respective clients. A heated argument over client representation escalated into a physical fight.

Both parties have filed complaints against each other, and authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the sequence of events and any potential legal violations.
