Air travel is often associated with comfort and convenience, but when issues arise mid-flight, the experience can become frustrating. A similar situation occurred with Union Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. While traveling from Bhopal to Delhi on an Air India flight for an event, he was assigned a broken seat, making his journey uncomfortable.

Shivraj shared the incident on X, stating that when he boarded the flight, he found his seat broken and sunken, causing discomfort. He questioned the Air India staff about why such a damaged seat was allotted. In response, the staff informed him that they had already reported the issue to the management. Additionally, they revealed that multiple seats on the flight were in poor condition.

Despite other passengers offering their seats, Shivraj refused to inconvenience anyone else and chose to complete his journey on the same broken seat. His decision highlighted his concern for fellow passengers.

Following the incident, Air India issued an apology and assured that necessary steps would be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future. Shivraj, however, pointed out that subjecting any passenger to such discomfort was unacceptable. He urged Air India to take immediate corrective measures to improve passenger experience and ensure better seat maintenance.

This incident has sparked discussions about the declining service quality of domestic airlines and raised concerns over passenger safety and comfort, emphasizing the need for airlines to prioritize better maintenance and customer service.
