Start with a Gentle Cleanser

 

Begin your day by washing your face with a mild, oil-free cleanser. This helps remove overnight oil buildup without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. Avoid harsh scrubs that can irritate the skin and trigger increased oil production.

 

Use a Lightweight, Non-Comedogenic Moisturizer

 

Hydration is crucial, even for oily skin. Opt for a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer that won't clog pores. This maintains the skin's moisture balance and prevents the sebaceous glands from overcompensating with excess oil.

 

Apply a Mattifying Primer

 

Before applying makeup, use a mattifying primer to control shine throughout the day. Primers with ingredients like silica can absorb excess oil and provide a smooth base for makeup application.

 

Incorporate a Vitamin C Serum
