"Maximum boasts, minimum achievements": Congress launches scathing attack on Amit Shah.

The Congress party has launched a blistering critique of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, denouncing his recent remarks in Parliament as "maximum boasts with minimal achievements" . Party president Mallikarjun Kharge accused Shah of delivering a “bundle of lies”, alleging that his speech was nothing more than a platform to praise Prime Minister Modi and deflect attention from pressing national issues .

Congress also slammed Shah’s repeated jabs at the Gandhi family, calling his attacks "far from truth" and a deliberate effort to divert the public’s focus . Jairam Ramesh accused the Home Minister of fear‑mongering by linking political stability to market performance, contending that the Congress’s track record under former PM Manmohan Singh actually saw stronger economic growth and private investment.

From Congress's perspective, Shah's speech amounted to grandstanding - filled with rhetoric but lacking substance. Leaders repeatedly stressed that rather than addressing unemployment, economic concerns, and corruption, Shah chose to deliver an oration focused on personal glorification and political grandstanding. They urged the public to look beyond political theatrics and judge the government by concrete results - not just slogans and speeches.
