Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has announced his debut autobiography "The One" through an emotional Instagram post. The book promises a raw, unfiltered journey through his life beyond cricket highlights, focusing on personal struggles, self-doubt, injuries, and comebacks.

Dhawan recently retired from international cricket after an illustrious career spanning 6,793 ODI runs in 167 matches with 17 centuries, 2,315 Test runs in 34 matches with seven centuries, and 1,759 T20I runs across 68 appearances.

"The One" will chronicle his journey from Delhi childhood dreams to becoming India's consistent white-ball opener, exploring the "in-betweens" of learning, unlearning, and perseverance. The autobiography captures his full spectrum: career highs, personal trials, and introspective struggles that shaped his resilient character.
