The Delhi government is set to roll out the Ayushman Bharat Scheme on April 5, providing health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh for eligible residents. Out of this, ₹7 lakh will be funded by the Delhi government, ensuring better medical support for underprivileged families.
The scheme will benefit families under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and other priority households. Delhi's Health Minister, Pankaj Singh, stated that the first 100,000 health cards will be issued by April 10, ensuring quick access to quality healthcare.
