Meet the Startup Turning Ordinary Maids into On-demand Experts!

Snabbit is a new Indian startup changing the way people hire domestic help. Launched in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, the platform connects households with trained and verified helpers, called “experts,” for tasks like laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, bathroom cleaning, and kitchen prep. Its big promise: help arrives within 10 minutes.

Starting in Mumbai, Snabbit has now expanded to Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Thane. The platform has around 2,500 experts and more than 1 lakh customers, with a retention rate of 36%. Every helper goes through KYC verification and a three-day training covering cleaning skills, customer interaction, and using the app. Many helpers are women, and the company provides insurance and family benefits.

Snabbit carefully plans where to position its helpers, especially during festivals or busy seasons, ensuring quick and reliable service. Helpers are paid hourly, and extra incentives encourage punctuality and quality.

With plans to expand to 820,000 experts and handle 1 million orders per day, Snabbit aims to bring trust, speed, and professionalism to India’s largely unorganised domestic help sector. Its model is making home services as easy as booking a cab or ordering food.
