On July 12, 2025, a serious incident occurred in Buddha Colony, Patna, where a minor girl was reportedly molested just outside the premises of the local Digha police station. The victim was waiting for a ride when a man allegedly a local stationery shop owner approached and inappropriately touched her. The girl alerted nearby residents immediately, prompting them to inform the police.
