Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing his Cabinet on Wednesday, lauded the recent successful strikes by Indian security forces on terror facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), describing the operations as a "moment of pride" for the nation. He emphasized the necessity of the missions and underscored the importance of continued preparedness for future security challenges.
The Cabinet meeting followed a briefing by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who detailed the precision targeting of terror camps. Sources indicate that Modi praised the forces for ensuring there were no civilian casualties, highlighting the uniqueness of the operation. "In this respect, it was a unique operation," he noted.
While ministers expressed their approval, Modi struck a note of caution, stressing the need for ongoing vigilance. He also advised Cabinet members to refrain from making unnecessary political comments regarding the operation.
