2. Peepal (Sacred Fig): This Ficus religiosa holds sacred status across Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Linked to Lord Vishnu and the Buddha’s enlightenment, it is coveted for spiritual cleansing and longevity.
3. Bael: Integral to Lord Shiva worship, the trifoliate bael leaf symbolizes Shiva's trinity. Its fruit also plays a vital role in Ayurvedic medicine.
4. Banyan: A symbol of eternity, the banyan tree is tied to the Hindu trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva—and is believed to strengthen familial and communal ties.
5. Ashoka: Honored as sacred to Goddess Lakshmi and symbolizing love and joy, this tree is linked to the birthplace of Lord Buddha and holds medicinal value.
6. Neem: Known as the “tree of purity,” neem’s leaves are used to ward off evil and are widely respected for their healing properties.
