Now you can book a hot air balloon ride in Delhi!

Get ready, Delhi! Starting in the next two months, the capital will offer hot air balloon rides at four scenic locations: Yamuna Sports Complex, Commonwealth Games Sports Complex, Asita, and Baansera Bamboo Park.

Operated by a private agency on a revenue-sharing model with the DDA, the project will offer four hours of flight time daily. Each site will allocate 3,600 sq. m of space for balloon operations, aiming to promote eco-tourism and riverfront tourism.

This thrilling initiative is part of DDA’s plan to revamp the Yamuna riverfront into a cultural and tourist hub. The hot air balloon project, sanctioned for three years (with a possible extension to nine), adds to the city’s evolving skyline and leisure activities.

The initiative complements a proposed ferry service on the Yamuna River, stretching between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur. With both air and water experiences on offer soon, Delhi is setting the stage for a tourism makeover like never before!
