ChatGPT just changed forever - teens will never see AI the same again!

Artificial intelligence is rapidly shaping young minds, but safety concerns are rising too. To address this, OpenAI has announced a special “teen-friendly ChatGPT” experience that will launch later this year.

The platform will come with stricter content filters, blocking any flirtatious chats or self-harm discussions, even in fictional or creative contexts. This move is aimed at protecting teenagers who are considered highly vulnerable to online influence.

A key highlight is age-prediction technology. If ChatGPT cannot clearly verify a user’s age, it will automatically switch to the under-18 version. This ensures that no teenager accidentally gets exposed to unsafe or harmful content.

The decision comes at a time when experts are debating the impact of AI chatbots on mental health, especially among young users. With this step, the Microsoft-backed startup is trying to balance innovation with responsibility.

Interestingly, OpenAI also plans to set up its first India office in New Delhi, signaling how important the Indian market has become for the AI giant.

This new approach may redefine how young people safely engage with artificial intelligence worldwide.
