In a chilling incident in Hisar, Haryana, two Class 12 students allegedly stopped their school principal after he reprimanded them for unkempt hair and violating disciplinary norms, before fatally stabbing him on campus .

The victim has been identified as Jagbir Singh, the principal of Kartar Memorial Senior Secondary School in Bas Badshahpur village. Authorities say the two minors rushed at him with a folding knife after being told to get haircuts and comply with school rules. Mr. Singh was stabbed multiple times and died on the spot .

Police confirmed that the accused, both minors, have not been arrested yet and are believed to have fled the scene. Preliminary investigations cite security footage showing the teens stabbing the principal and discarding the weapon on-campus .
