The murder of Sanjay Verma, a prominent businessman in Fazilka, Punjab, has sparked political outrage and intensified scrutiny of the state’s law and order. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led state government for its alleged failure to ensure public safety.

Verma, who was reportedly kidnapped before being killed, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The tragic incident has sent shockwaves across the state and raised serious concerns about growing criminal activity.

BJP leaders condemned the AAP government, accusing it of negligence and a worsening security environment. The party called for an impartial investigation into the killing and demanded accountability from those responsible.

Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar stated, “This brutal murder reflects the collapse of governance and rising fear among citizens. The AAP government has failed to protect lives.”

As the investigation continues, public sentiment remains tense, with demands for justice and stronger action against organized crime echoing across the region.
