The baby appears healthy and is cared for with minimal support, raising eyebrows about the show's portrayal of childbirth. Viewers have taken to social media to slam the scene, calling it “lazy writing” and accusing the male director of lacking basic knowledge of childbirth.

Many questioned the absence of key post-birth elements like placenta delivery, pain, or amniotic fluid, with one user saying, “Her broken ankle got more attention than the childbirth.”

While Squid Game is known for its intense drama and social commentary, fans argue that this particular scene lacked realism and sensitivity, undermining the show’s otherwise powerful narrative.
