In a high-scoring IPL 2025 match, Punjab Kings (PBKS) posted a huge total of 245/6 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first. Openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya gave a blazing start, scoring 53 runs in just three overs. Priyansh hit 36 off 13 balls before getting out, and Prabhsimran scored 42 off 23 balls.

After their dismissals, Iyer and Nehal Wadhera continued the charge. Iyer smashed a quick half-century in 22 balls with big sixes, while Wadhera added 27 runs.

Eshan Malinga, a debutant for SRH, took two wickets, including Prabhsimran and Wadhera.

Shreyas Iyer remained the top scorer with a powerful knock, guiding PBKS past 200 in the 17th over. The innings ended at 245/6.

In reply, SRH batter Abhishek Sharma put on a show. He not only scored a century but also held up a note saying, "This one is for Orange Army." He became the highest-scoring Indian in a single IPL innings with 132+.
