About the Role

The selected consultant will work with TRAI’s Finance & Economic Analysis (F&EA) Division and assist in policy-oriented research and regulatory work related to the telecom and broadcasting sectors. This includes contributing to consultation papers, recommendations, regulations, and financial or economic modelling exercises.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Graduation in Economics

• Desirable: Post-graduation in Economics

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 4 years of relevant post-qualification work experience

• Desirable Experience:

  • Telecom policy or regulation

  • Spectrum economics and modelling

  • Telecom licensing frameworks

  • Financial or corporate finance modelling

  • Costing, pricing, and tariff analysis

  • Experience with economic, financial, or sectoral regulators in India is considered an added advantage
