Instagram has expanded several key creator tools to all public accounts, removing the earlier restriction that required users to switch to Professional Mode.
The update includes access to the insights dashboard, which helps users track how their posts and Reels are performing. Public accounts can now also use content scheduling features and explore trending audio tools - features that were earlier available only to professional users.
The move allows creators to experiment with growth tools before deciding to convert their account into a professional one. However, certain advanced tools will still remain exclusive to Professional Mode or unlock only after reaching specific follower milestones.
One notable feature is trial Reels, which lets creators test content performance beyond their existing follower base.
The update is expected to benefit small creators looking to grow steadily. Once users reach 1,000 followers, they can choose whether to activate additional professional tools.
