Virat Kohli creates history once again! Only player to achieve this record!

The ICC has updated Virat Kohli's highest-ever T20I rating from 897 to 909 through a historical revision process, making him the first player to achieve 900+ rating points across all three formats. This milestone comes over a year after Kohli's T20I retirement following India's 2024 T20 World Cup victory.

With his updated T20I rating of 909, Kohli now ranks third in the ICC's all-time T20I rankings, behind Dawid Malan (919) and Suryakumar Yadav (912). His career-best ratings span across formats: 937 in Tests, 911 in ODIs, and now 909 in T20Is.

The rating adjustment resulted from the ICC's regular historical revision process, where the governing body reviews match data and recalculates rating points based on updated methodologies. This technical update doesn't reflect recent performance but rather a systematic review of historical records.

Kohli's achievement underscores his dominance across formats during his illustrious career, having scored over 27,000 international runs with 81 centuries combined across all three formats.
