What should have been an adventurous family trip to Kashmir turned into a nightmare for Gujarat tourist Rishi Bhatt. While ziplining over Baisaran's scenic meadows, Bhatt noticed something chilling-the zipline operator suddenly chanted “Allahu Akbar” three times before releasing him. Moments later, gunshots shattered the peaceful air.

Terror Strikes Without Warning:

Bhatt recalled that nine tourists before him had zipped silently-no chants, no alarms. But right after his ride began, a hail of bullets followed. Within seconds, panic gripped the area as terrorists opened fire on unsuspecting tourists.

A Race for Survival:

Realizing it wasn't a prank but a deadly ambush, Bhatt sprang into action. He unhooked himself mid-air, grabbed his wife and son, and ran for their lives. They hid in a pit nearby-out of sight but not out of danger.

Horror Unfolds Before Their Eyes:

Bhatt revealed a heartbreaking moment-terrorists asked two men their religion and shot them point-blank in front of his wife and child. "My wife and son were screaming in fear," he said, still shaken by the trauma.

Army's Swift Action Saves Lives:

As chaos reigned, the Indian Army rushed in within 20 minutes, providing cover to stranded tourists. “It was only after the Army's arrival that we finally felt safe," Bhatt said, thankful for their brave intervention.
