Is your period the reason behind your annoying skin problems?

Hey, ladies! Ever wondered why your skin suddenly throws a tantrum each month? You're not alone! It turns out your menstrual cycle could be the culprit. Just like mood swings, your skin goes through its own rollercoaster ride thanks to fluctuating hormones. Let's break it down.

First, there's the menstrual phase. In this phase, estrogen and progesterone take a downturn, leaving your skin feeling dry, dull, and super sensitive. Those fine lines? Suddenly, they're on full display.

Then comes the follicular phase, when estrogen starts its comeback, giving your skin a glow-up. Finally, the ovulation phase is where your skin is at its prime, clear, bright, and bouncy.

But hold up; here comes the luteal phase, where progesterone surges. Oil production goes into overdrive, pores get clogged, and hello, breakouts! Plus, sensitivity and redness join the party. Ugh.

So, what's a girl to do? Tailor your skincare to each phase! When your period hits, pamper your skin with gentle cleansers and ample amount of hydration. As oil production increases in the luteal phase, switch to lighter products with salicylic acid (if it suits you) to keep those pores clear.

Remember, your skin's monthly drama is totally normal. By understanding your cycle and adjusting your skincare routine accordingly, you can keep your skin happy and healthy all month long!
