The Telangana BJP launched a fierce attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his recent statements criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government's handling of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). BJP spokesperson NV Subash labeled Reddy's comments as "irresponsible" and "bizarre", accusing him of echoing Pakistan's propaganda rather than supporting national interest.

Subash questioned Reddy’s respect for the Indian Armed Forces, especially in a time of heightened tensions with Pakistan. He also criticized the CM for allegedly prioritizing media appearances with celebrities over national solidarity.

Reddy, during Congress' 'Jai Hind Yatra', claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s leadership could have reclaimed PoK, invoking the legacy of Indira Gandhi. He also questioned the effectiveness of Operation Sindoor and demanded answers from PM Modi regarding Rafale jets and the failure to separate Balochistan.

The political war of words has intensified, with BJP accusing Reddy of misleading the public.
