Youngest Ever T20 Centurion Vaibhav Suryavanshi Smashes IPL’s Fastest Century

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a historic performance in IPL 2025, smashing a breathtaking 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Starting with a rapid 17-ball fifty, he continued his assault to reach a magnificent hundred in the next 18 balls, setting a new record for the fastest century by an Indian in IPL history.

At just 14 years and 32 days old, Vaibhav also became the youngest cricketer to score a century in T20 cricket. His incredible feat was sealed with a towering six off Rashid Khan, leaving the stadium in absolute awe of the prodigy's talent and composure.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka was among the first to celebrate Vaibhav’s achievement. Sharing a heartfelt Instagram post, Goenka wrote, "A salute to the spirit, the confidence, the talent... the young @vaibhav_sooryavanshi09.. wow!! 100 in 35 balls!! Whew," along with a picture of himself and the young star.

The Rajasthan Royals dugout erupted in applause as Suryavanshi reached his century, with Yashasvi Jaiswal warmly embracing the teenager. Together, Jaiswal and Vaibhav blasted 87 runs during the powerplay, completely dominating the bowlers. Ishant Sharma endured the heaviest onslaught during the carnage.

Although Prasidh Krishna eventually dismissed Suryavanshi for 101 off 38 balls, the youngster had already powered his team to the brink of a massive victory, marking one of the most memorable innings in IPL history.
