Your food preferences are leaked as 5.7 million flyers got hacked!

Qantas Airways has confirmed one of Australia's largest cyber breaches, with hackers accessing personal data of 5.7 million customers. The compromised information includes names, email addresses, home addresses, birth dates, phone numbers, and meal preferences, though no financial data or credit card details were accessed.

The breach breakdown shows 2.8 million customers had names, emails, and frequent flyer numbers exposed, while 1.2 million had names and emails compromised. CEO Vanessa Hudson said additional cybersecurity measures have been implemented and no evidence suggests data was released publicly.

The incident adds pressure on Hudson as she works to restore Qantas' reputation. The breach follows similar attacks on Hawaiian Airlines and WestJet, with the FBI attributing recent airline breaches to hacking group Scattered Spider.
