A 24‑year‑old Indian-origin man, Navroop Singh, has been sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum 14-year term, at Isleworth Crown Court for multiple sexual offences, including the rape of a child under 13 and attempted rape of a woman. Singh pleaded guilty to five charges, including possessing an imitation firearm with intent, the rape of the young girl, and assault by penetration. He was also convicted, following a four-day trial, for the attempted rape of a woman in her 20s at Southall Park in October 2024.
