The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has summoned former Delhi ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain in connection with an alleged ₹2,000 crore scam involving classroom construction during the AAP regime. Jain is to appear on June 6, while Sisodia has been called on June 9.
The FIR, filed on April 30, claims irregularities in the construction of 12,748 classrooms in government schools. The ACB alleges that 34 firms—many reportedly linked to AAP—were awarded contracts without proper oversight, causing massive cost escalations and incomplete projects.
Manish Sisodia, who held the education and finance portfolios, and Jain, who oversaw PWD and urban development, are central to the investigation.
AAP has dismissed the charges as politically driven, accusing the BJP of misusing institutions to target its leaders and weaken public trust in governance improvements made under their leadership.
