Air India and IndiGo Launch Emergency Flights to Save Stranded Tourists in Kashmir!

Following the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which left multiple casualties and sparked panic among tourists, Indian airlines have moved swiftly to ensure safe evacuations from the valley.
On Wednesday, April 23, both Air India and IndiGo will operate a total of four additional flights from Srinagar—two to Delhi and two to Mumbai.
Air India has announced the following additional flights:
Srinagar to Delhi at 11:30 AM
Srinagar to Mumbai at 12:00 noon
These flights are open for booking. All other Air India services to and from Srinagar will continue as per their regular schedule.
Additionally, Air India is offering free rescheduling and full refunds on cancellations for tickets booked on these sectors until April 30, 2025. Passengers can reach Air India's contact center at 011 69329333 or 011 69329999 for assistance.
IndiGo is also operating two special flights on April 23 and has extended waivers on cancellations and rescheduling due to the current situation. For more information, passengers can visit goindigo.in or call +91 124 4973838 / +91 124 6173838.
These emergency measures aim to assist stranded travelers and restore calm amidst ongoing concerns.
