Industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife, former actress Tina Ambani, were recently seen at the ongoing Maha Kumbh festival in Prayagraj, where millions of devotees gather to take a holy dip in the sacred waters of the river. The visit by the couple was a part of their spiritual journey during the grand festival, which has been attracting a massive turnout of people since it began on January 13.
In a video posted on social media, Anil Ambani is seen dressed in simple white kurta-pajama while Tina Ambani accompanied him onboard a boat. The couple, along with their security team, were seen waiting for their turn to take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. The holy bath at this sacred spot is believed to wash away sins and bring blessings.
Earlier, the Ambanis also visited the Mahabodhi Temple in Bihar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, marking further their spiritual journey. The temple is very important for followers of Buddhism, making it an important stop on their pilgrimage.
Already, the Maha Kumbh, the grand religious gathering held once in every 12 years, has already witnessed more than 110 million devotees participate in the ritual. This event remains one of the highlights for the pilgrims all around the world.
Besides the Ambanis, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and his son, Jay Shah, also attended the Maha Kumbh festival. They joined millions of devotees for a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
