Blip, a Bengaluru‑based startup offering 30‑minute fashion delivery, has ceased operations just under a year after launching, co‑founder Ansh Agarwal confirmed via LinkedIn.
Founded in 2022, Blip pioneered vertical‑focused quick commerce in India by integrating deep-tech platforms with micro‑warehousing to deliver curated outfits in record time. However, Agarwal explained that execution delays—especially convincing stakeholders of the novel model—and sustaining operations with limited funding ultimately forced the shutdown.
Although the quick-fashion segment is gaining traction—rival startups Slikk, NewMe, and Knot are making inroads, and larger players like Myntra and Ajio are testing express delivery options—Blip struggled to compete without significant capital and infrastructure. Investor interest in ultra‑fast delivery remains strong, evidenced by recent funding for 60‑minute fashion player Slikk.
Despite its exit, Agarwal expressed confidence in the model’s potential, stating, “I continue to believe in this space and understand the need for verticalisation of quick commerce”. While Blip will no longer compete, its brief journey highlights the capital intensity and logistical complexity of delivering runway-ready outfits faster than ever before.
