Flight alert: IndiGo cancels major routes due to Rising Threat!

In light of the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, IndiGo, the country's largest domestic airline, has announced the cancellation of flights from 10 cities.

The affected cities include Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharamsala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, and Rajkot. All flights from these cities will remain canceled until 11:59 PM on May 10, 2025.

IndiGo reassured its passengers that their safety and security remain the airline's top priority and that they are closely monitoring the situation. Passengers have been urged to remain patient and contact the airline for updates.

In addition, the airline has also suspended its direct flights to Almaty and Tashkent until June 14, 2025, due to operational restrictions following the closure of Pakistani airspace.

As security measures tighten across the country, Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has advised travelers to arrive three hours prior to their scheduled departure to ensure smooth check-in and security procedures.
