A disturbing CCTV video illustrates the fatal confrontation that ended the life of Asif Qureshi—cousin of Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi—over a seemingly mundane parking dispute in Delhi’s Bhogal area. The footage shows the accused approaching Asif and escalating into a physical altercation. He was then subdued and stabbed with a sharp object, resulting in a fatal chest wound. Despite efforts by bystanders, Asif succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.

According to Delhi Police, the incident occurred around 10:30 PM on August 7, 2025, when Asif asked two teenage neighbours—18-year-old Gautam and 19-year-old Ujjwal - to move a scooter blocking his home entrance. The confrontation quickly turned violent, leading to his untimely death. Both suspects were arrested and the murder weapon was seized. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The tragedy has not only highlighted the alarming rise in violent escalations over everyday disputes, but also drawn national attention due to the familial connection to a public figure. Investigations are ongoing, and the community and family are demanding justice.
