How did FITTR rise from WhatsApp Group to Healthcare Giant?

In Pune’s Viman Nagar, Jitendra “JC” Chouksey reflects on FITTR’s remarkable journey. What started as a WhatsApp group of 200 health enthusiasts nearly collapsed under financial strain but today stands as a Rs 128-crore preventive healthcare platform.

Founded almost a decade ago, FITTR entered a crowded market filled with fad diets and fragmented solutions. JC’s vision was simple: a holistic, sustainable approach to health, leveraging community, expert guidance, and technology. Early days were challenging, with resources stretched thin and skepticism around the model.

The turning point came through strategic scaling, building a digital ecosystem, and focusing on preventive healthcare rather than quick fixes. FITTR now connects thousands of users with coaches, fitness plans, and wellness tools, creating a comprehensive support system.

JC credits FITTR’s growth to its community-driven approach, technological adoption, and resilience through near-bankruptcy. From a casual WhatsApp chat to one of India’s most trusted healthcare platforms, the journey underscores the power of vision, persistence, and innovation in building lasting impact.
