The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has clinched the top spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 management category for the sixth consecutive year (2020–2025), underscoring its unwavering dominance in management education. Evaluated on rigorous parameters teaching quality, research output, placement outcomes, inclusivity, and institutional reputation IIMA’s consistent performance across these metrics has sustained its leadership position.

Trailing IIMA, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode retain second and third ranks, reaffirming the stronghold of Indian Institutes of Management in the B-school landscape. Notably, IIT Delhi’s Department of Management Studies (DMS) has secured the fourth spot, marking a significant milestone for technology institutes making inroads into management rankings.

Other prominent contenders in the top 10 include IIM Lucknow (#5), IIM Mumbai (#6), IIM Calcutta (#7), IIM Indore (#8), MDI Gurugram (#9), and XLRI Jamshedpur (#10).
