Missed exams due to Operation Sindoor? DU gives you another chance!

In a compassionate move, Delhi University (DU) has announced special examinations for students who were impacted by Operation Sindoor, the government-led evacuation effort earlier this year. These students, who missed their scheduled university exams due to displacement or emergencies linked to the operation, will now have a chance to appear in a dedicated exam cycle.

According to university authorities, affected students can submit their applications until July 10, 2025, via the official DU portal. This initiative is aimed at ensuring that academic progress is not hindered by unforeseen circumstances, particularly for those who were caught in conflict zones or humanitarian crises during the original exam window.

The university has advised students to submit valid supporting documents along with their application forms to be considered eligible. Specific dates and venues for the special exams will be announced shortly.

This move by DU has been widely appreciated for its student-centric approach, showing institutional flexibility in the face of global and national emergencies.
