NEET PG 2025 Rescheduled: Supreme Court Approves August 3 Exam in Single Shift

The Supreme Court has approved the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)'s plea to reschedule the NEET PG 2025 examination to August 3, 2025. Originally set for June 15 in two shifts, the exam will now be conducted in a single shift to ensure fairness and uniformity among candidates.

This decision follows concerns that multiple shifts could lead to disparities in question paper difficulty levels, potentially affecting candidates' performance. The NBEMS cited logistical challenges, including the need to arrange over 1,000 examination centers across 250 cities and deploy nearly 60,000 personnel, as reasons for seeking the extension.

The Supreme Court bench, comprising Justices Prashant Kumar Mishra and Augustine George Masih, emphasized that no further extensions would be granted. Candidates are advised to adjust their preparation schedules accordingly and stay updated through official NBEMS channels for further information on examination centers and admit card releases.

This rescheduling aims to uphold the integrity of the examination process and provide a level playing field for all aspirants.
