No pilot’s licence needed! This Rs 1.6 crore flying car can be flown by anyone…

Flying cars are no longer a futuristic fantasy! A US-based startup, Pivotal, has introduced a one-seater electric flying car that can soar through the skies - and shockingly, it doesn’t even require a pilot’s licence.

Called an eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, this Rs 1.6 crore innovation weighs only 115 kilograms, even lighter than a superbike. Under US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules, it’s classified as an ultralight vehicle, which means anyone can fly it without formal aviation training.

With just a few controls and an electric battery, Pivotal’s eVTOL can travel up to 20 miles on a single charge. The company says this classification lets them test and redesign faster without strict commercial flight restrictions.

From a sci-fi dream to real-world innovation, this tiny machine marks a turning point for personal air mobility. Imagine skipping traffic jams, taking off from your backyard, and flying straight to your destination - the future of commuting might just be airborne!
