Fresh satellite images have unveiled the significant impact of India's precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation was launched in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 Indian tourists.
The imagery, released by Maxar Technologies, highlights substantial structural damage at key locations. Notably, the Jamia Mosque in Bahawalpur and a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) training center in Muridke show clear signs of destruction. The LeT complex in Muridke, spanning 82 acres, is considered the organization's primary training facility. Similarly, the Jamia Mosque, associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), has suffered significant damage.
Operation Sindoor targeted nine sites in total—four within Pakistan and five in PoK—focusing on infrastructure linked to JeM, LeT, and Hizbul Mujahideen. The Indian government emphasized that the strikes were "focused, measured, and non-escalatory," deliberately avoiding Pakistani military installations to minimize the risk of broader conflict.
