Pawandeep Rajan, the winner of Indian Idol Season 12, was involved in a serious road accident near Ahmedabad on Monday morning around 3:40 am.
The singer suffered multiple injuries, with footage circulating online showing him in critical condition as doctors treated him.
The accident reportedly occurred due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel.
The car was severely damaged in the crash. Pawandeep has sustained injuries to his leg and hand, and he is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. Fans and well-wishers have flooded social media with prayers for his speedy recovery.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also expressed his concerns, offering prayers for Pawandeep's quick healing.
Pawandeep, who hails from Uttarakhand, gained fame with The Voice of India and later won Indian Idol 12. His fans are hopeful for his recovery and continue to send their love and support during this tough time.
