Startup of the Day: Zillionaire

Founded in 2020 by then-16-year-olds Aaditya Fatehpuriya and Raghav Goyal, Zillionaire is a Jaipur-based D2C startup redefining Indian jewelry.

Inspired by hip-hop culture and the lack of expressive, “iced-out” pieces in the local market, the duo began designing jewelry they wanted to wear themselves.

What started with Instagram posts during the COVID-19 lockdown quickly transformed into a high-growth brand.

Zillionaire specializes in bold, custom silver and cubic zirconia jewelry that appeals to Gen Z and millennial buyers. Backed by celebrity clients like Ranveer Singh and Raftaar, the brand hit ₹1 crore in revenue within seven months of FY23 and secured ₹1 crore in funding on Shark Tank India from Anupam Mittal.

Their business model, direct-to-customer with high visual appeal and exclusivity, sets them apart from India's traditionally conservative jewelry market. With global expansion plans underway and strong Instagram traction (95K+ followers), Zillionaire is poised to scale.

The secret? A sharp cultural pulse, clear product-market fit, and leveraging digital marketing from day one.
