Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav received a disturbing death threat from an individual identified as Vishnu, warning him, comedian Kapil Sharma, and their families of impending harm. The threatening email, which also mentioned monitoring their movements, was traced to an IP address in Pakistan.
The email, sent on December 14, 2024, from [email protected] to Rajpal Yadav's team email ([email protected]), included a specific demand: Rajpal Yadav was asked to deliver a death message to Kapil Sharma. This alarming message indicated that Sharma's and Yadav's activities were under surveillance.
Following the threat, Rajpal Yadav's wife, Radha Rajpal Yadav, filed a formal complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. Senior Police Inspector Sadashiv Nikam confirmed that an FIR has been registered under Section 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with threats of harm.
The police are investigating the matter and exploring potential links to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, known for its criminal activities. Authorities are working to uncover the identity of the person or group behind the threat and ensure the safety of the individuals targeted.
