The Tiny Toothpaste Trick That Could Save Your Smile!

Using the right amount of toothpaste is key to healthy brushing habits. For adults, a pea-sized amount is ideal - just enough to clean effectively without wasting product. Children under 3 should use only a smear of fluoride toothpaste, about the size of a grain of rice, to avoid swallowing too much fluoride.

Using too much toothpaste won't hurt, but it can lead to more foam and may tempt younger children to swallow it. Stick to the recommended amount to keep things safe and effective. If you use fluoride toothpaste, try not to rinse right after brushing- let the fluoride sit on your teeth a bit longer to help strengthen enamel.

Choose a toothpaste that fits your needs- sensitive teeth, whitening, or fluoride-free- and makes brushing enjoyable. Whether you prefer baking soda freshness or minty foam, the key is brushing twice a day, flossing, and visiting your dentist regularly. Your smile will thank you!
