
According to Reuters, citing Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump phoned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on June 24, requesting that Israel refrain from further attacks on Iran during the fragile ceasefire . Netanyahu reportedly responded that halting the operation entirely was not feasible, as Iran had already violated the ceasefire, though he agreed to scale back the strike, focusing on a single target rather than a broader offensive .
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority has urged that the ceasefire in Gaza be included as part of any broader peace deal with Iran and Israel - calling for an immediate halt to bloodshed in the West Asian region .
Separately, the Indian Embassy in Tehran closed its Operation Sindhu help desk in Mashhad, citing the effective ceasefire and noting that evacuation efforts for stranded Indians in Iran are winding down
