Where's the fire? Jadeja's iconic sword celebration missing in action!

Ravindra Jadeja, once the heartbeat of India’s lower-order resistance and flair, has been oddly quiet with the bat - and even quieter with his trademark sword-swishing celebration. As India heads into the final leg of the England Test series, fans and critics alike are wondering: Where is the Jadeja we know?

The 36-year-old all-rounder has not produced a defining knock this series, and it’s been a while since he last pulled out his signature celebration after reaching a milestone. His performance with the ball hasn’t impressed either - he looked off-colour at Headingley, where his figures lacked the bite and accuracy that once defined his red-ball prowess.

While he remains a crucial part of India’s balance, the pressure is building. In the longest format, Jadeja’s slump comes at a time when the team needs both resilience and magic from its seasoned players. With a do-or-die Test on the horizon, all eyes will be on the southpaw to reignite his spark—maybe with a sword twirl, if not a match-winning fifer.
