Uttar Pradesh shocked as 4 kids drown while playing outside!

A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Bedauli village of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, as four children drowned in a water-filled pit while playing in a nearby field. The deceased have been identified as Vaishnavi, Hunar, Kanha, and Khesari - all from the same village.

According to police officials, the children had gone missing while playing outside their homes. A frantic search by villagers led to the discovery of their bodies in a large, water-logged pit in an open field. Authorities suspect the pit had been formed due to recent rain or excavation work, and it had filled with water unnoticed.

The news has left the village in shock, with grieving families and neighbors demanding accountability and immediate safety measures to prevent such accidents. Local officials have assured an investigation into why the dangerous pit was left unsecured in a residential area.

The district administration has announced compensation for the bereaved families and urged villagers to keep children away from unsafe areas during the monsoon season.
