What would happen if you time travel back in the past and stop your grandparents from meeting?

Paradoxes are intriguing statements or phenomena that defy intuition, often highlighting contradictions or challenging established beliefs. Here are three notable paradoxes that continue to perplex and fascinate thinkers:
- The Fermi Paradox
Proposed by physicist Enrico Fermi, this paradox questions why, given the vastness of the universe and the high probability of extraterrestrial life, humanity has yet to observe any signs of intelligent alien civilizations. Despite numerous stars and potentially habitable planets, the universe appears silent, leading to various hypotheses about the existence and detectability of extraterrestrial life.
- The Sorites Paradox
Also known as the "paradox of the heap," the Sorites Paradox arises from the problem of vague predicates. It questions how removing a single grain from a heap of sand can still leave a heap, yet repeating this process eventually results in no heap at all. This paradox challenges the boundaries of definitions and the precision of language.
- The Grandfather Paradox
A well-known time travel paradox, the Grandfather Paradox explores the consequences of traveling back in time and altering the past. It posits that if a person were to travel back and prevent their grandfather from meeting their grandmother, it would prevent the time traveler's existence, raising questions about causality and the consistency of timelines.
These paradoxes not only challenge our understanding of logic and reality but also inspire deeper inquiry into the complexities of the universe and the limitations of human perception.
