Ola Consumer has made a significant push into India’s food delivery market with the nationwide expansion of Ola Food and the launch of Dash, a 10-minute meal delivery service piloting in Bengaluru. These initiatives aim to redefine affordability, speed, and convenience in the food delivery landscape, leveraging the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
Ola Food now operates across 100 cities, offering discounts of up to 50% under its “Best Deal on Every Meal” initiative. The platform guarantees a superior, subscription-free delivery experience and rewards customers with OlaCoins—10 times the usual rate—redeemable across Ola’s services, including mobility and e-commerce.
Dash takes the spotlight with its promise of freshly prepared meals delivered within 10 minutes. By collaborating with local restaurants, the service prioritizes speed and reliability, with plans for expansion to other cities already underway.
Speaking about the launch, Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Consumer, said, “India’s quick commerce landscape is evolving rapidly. With Dash and Ola Food, we’re delivering faster, more affordable solutions and transforming convenience for a billion Indians.”
Ola’s efforts extend beyond food delivery. At its Sankalp event, the company introduced automated dark store technology to streamline supply chains and announced plans to deploy 100,000 electric two-wheelers over the next two years, advancing its sustainability goals.
With these innovations, Ola is poised to lead India’s quick commerce sector, offering unmatched speed, savings, and a greener future for consumers.
