Air India just pulled off a major moment of respect and devotion! The airline recently transported sacred Saroops (physical copies) of the Guru Granth Sahib, Sikhism's holy scripture, from Delhi to Hong Kong, with full reverence.
To make sure the journey was as respectful as possible, the entire business class was booked just for the sacred texts.
Captain Sarab Jaspreet Minhas, who was part of this spiritual mission, shared a video on Instagram, calling it an honor to be involved.
The crew followed strict religious protocols, carrying the Saroops on their heads, placing each on a separate seat, and ensuring the highest level of care throughout the flight.
Once in Hong Kong, the same deep respect continued. The Saroops were carried with utmost devotion through immigration and were handed over to the local Gurdwara team.
Minhas thanked Air India staff and airport authorities for their full support in making this happen smoothly.
