Prince Harry is facing possible deportation concerns as a US court is ruling for the disclosure of his immigration files. Judge Carl Nichols is ordering the US Department of Homeland Security to release a redacted version by Tuesday, following a Freedom of Information (FOI) request by the conservative Heritage Foundation. The group is arguing that Harry may be omitting past drug use, which could be impacting his visa eligibility.

In his memoir Spare, Harry is admitting to using cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms, stating: "Cocaine isn't doing anything for me," but "marijuana is different; that actually really is helping me." The Heritage Foundation is contending that his visa application should be reflecting this history.

The Department of Homeland Security is initially opposing the document release but is agreeing in February to provide censored versions. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is commenting on the controversy, saying, "I'm leaving him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible." However, in a 2023 interview, he is stating, "If he is lying, they'll have to take appropriate action." Harry, who is moving to the US with Meghan in 2020, is now facing further scrutiny over his visa status.
