Indian-origin Pradipkumar Patel, 56, and his daughter were fatally shot while working at a relative's convenience store in Accomack County, Virginia.

The tragic incident occurred on March 20, with the county sheriff's office receiving a distress call around 5:30 AM. Upon arrival, authorities found Patel unresponsive with gunshot wounds and his daughter critically injured. While Patel was declared dead at the scene, his daughter was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The police arrested 44-year-old George Frazier Devon White from Onancock in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and firearm-related offenses. He remains in custody without bond.
