
Shefali Jariwala, famed for her iconic “Kaanta Laga” music video and her stint on reality TV show Bigg Boss 13, tragically died at age 42 on the night of June 27, 2025, in Andheri, Mumbai. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, but hospital staff reported she had already passed away upon arrival.
Mumbai Police received the alert at around 1 a.m. and swiftly dispatched both city and forensics teams to her residence.The body was subsequently transferred to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination, though the official cause of death remains pending further medical investigation.
Initial reports indicate cardiac arrest as the likely cause, a sudden heart failure that has shocked both fans and colleagues. No external injuries were reported, and the ongoing forensic examination aims to rule out foul play or other medical conditions.
Her untimely death has plunged the entertainment industry into mourning, with friends, family, and fans expressing deep sadness over the loss of a vibrant talent.
